This project consisted of the design and construction of a control tower, an east side ramp with supporting facilities, back shops, taxiways, a cargo handling area, coalition forces ramp expansion, and supporting utilities and roads. Work included demolition of existing facilities required for construction, site clearing, road construction, facility construction, site utilities, drainage, construction of perimeter fencing and other associated work to provide complete and usable facilities. These facilities at Bagram Air Base were designed and constructed in accordance with current U.S. Design Standards, Department of Defense, and Department of the Army safety and security standards, and applicable local standards. The work included unexploded ordinance (UXO) clearing and de-mining.
